Bootleg Rose is an indie folk duo with Hannah Rose and Tait Sarter, known for their soul stirring harmonies, acoustic driven sound, and emotive songwriting. Based in Eugene, Oregon, the pair draws influence from Americana artists like Watchhouse, The Avett Brothers, and Shovels & Rope.

Their music blends genres of folk, Americana, and blues into songs that feel both familiar and fresh, anchored in tradition but unafraid to explore new territory. Since their debut single, Walk Away in 2022, Bootleg Rose has continued to build momentum with the follow up single, Shine and their raw, live recorded One Take Acoustic Sessions EP.

A new single and the duo’s first ever cover was released at the end of 2025, plus a new EP is on its way in 2026. These tracks capture the duo’s evolving sound and heartfelt approach. Known for their dynamic live performances and vocal chemistry, Bootleg Rose has become a beloved act, returning to their California roots annually for a mini-tour, with stops including Hopmonk Sebastopol and the Mendocino Running Festival.
